BROEN BOSS fittings with needle valves for non-burning gases are delivered with a needle head work, based on a rising spindle with a PVDF sealing and a brass seat.

BOSS fittings for non-burning gases can be used for i.e. argon, helium, nitrogen, carbondioxide, compressed air and similar non-burning, non-corrosive and non-toxic gases. Furthermore the fittings can be used for vacuum applications, to this we recommend the special high flow head work with stainless steel seat.
The built-in BALLOFIX® ball valve is standard in this range and offers a number of advantages:
- Local shut-off, e.g. in connection with product service.
- Pre-setting for experimental purposes.
- Medium conservation.
- Safety lock, preventing unintended opening of the fitting.

Use of this range is adapted to common use of industrial and technical gases up to cleanliness 2.0 corresponding to 99.0% clean gases.
Maximum working pressure: 10 bar/147 psi. Every fitting is leak tested before leaving our factory.
Allowable pressure test after installation: 1.5 x max. working pressure without function of the valve.
